Mrs. Remola Wood Green, age 93, of Lindale, GA, passed away Tuesday evening, July 6, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. Green was born in Rome, GA on December 6, 1927, daughter of the late Gordon Earl Wood and the late Lucille Hammond Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ervin C. Green in 1994, by her 3 sisters, Colleen Selfe, Nina Smith, and Nancy Freer, and by her brother, Edward Wood. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and was a member of Lindale United Methodist Church where she had been active in various ministries of the church. Survivors include her son, Byron Green (Carol), Lindale; her grandson, Andrew Green (Grayson), Rome; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 3pm at the graveside in Floyd Memory Gardens. Her Pastor, the Rev. Bill Coady, will officiate with a eulogy given by Ron Pajor. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd for the compassionate care given to Mrs. Green.
