The Rome-Floyd Planning Commission meeting originally planned for April 2 has been canceled and all applications have been moved to the May 7 meeting.

Planning Director Artagus Newell said that they came to this conclusion after consulting with other planning commission members, including chairman Logan Boss.

As things stand now, the May 7 meeting will take place through virtual meeting platform Zoom.

Planning department staff members will send out participation instructions before the meeting takes place.
