Rome High School sophomore Abigail Cooper trains for the 1 Meter Diving competition at the Georgia High Schools Association State Swim Meet scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday at Georgia Tech.

RHS swim team head coach Joey Powers said at least 14 of his swimmers and divers had qualified to compete in the state meet and several others were getting close in the run-up to the Feb. 2-6 event in Atlanta.
