GHC plans to expand this summer with new Marietta location on Northchase Parkway

Georgia Highlands College announced plans for a new location in Marietta at 1090 Northchase Parkway.

Georgia Highlands College is planning a new location in Marietta, at 1090 Northchase Parkway.

The former GHC Marietta location was a small site opened in 2005 on the campus of Southern Polytechnic State University, now Kennesaw State University.

The Northchase center is currently undergoing renovations and GHC students will kick off summer semester in June at the new location.

“One of our chief goals at GHC is to provide opportunity to students through access to a college degree with little to no debt after graduating,” said Marietta Campus Dean Ken Reaves.

“We do this through a range of degree options, flexible scheduling, and career-focused outcomes that put traditional students as well as students who may have full time jobs and families to take care at the center of everything we do,” he said.

Reaves added that moving to this new site will allow GHC to increase its presence in Marietta and continue serving as the University System of Georgia’s primary access institution in the region.

This campus will join the college’s main locations in Rome and Cartersville.
