First baby of 2021 is born to Rockmart couple

Granger Tate Simmons was born on Jan. 1 at 12:08 a.m. to Donovan Simmons and Peyton Smith of Rockmart. Granger was 7 lbs and 11.6 oz and 20.5 inches long. Granger has a three year old brother, Easton, and was brought into this world by Dr. Margaret Marion, Tori Cochran (pictured), Hayden Cordell, Brandi Cash, Haley Lewis, Sydni Roe and Heather Tallent.
