Scenes for an upcoming film are being shot in Rome Saturday and locals are being sought as extras.
Rachel Reiff is a local contact for the film’s production company and said they’re using the PAM Studios offices on Broad Street as a home base. The film is a Screen Actors Guild film, she said.
“This is a fun kids Halloween movie sort of in the vain of ‘The Goonies or Goosebumps’,” she said. “It’s a full-length feature film and there is a star name attached to it.”
Specifically, she said, they’re looking for families with kids for a trick-or-treat scene which will be filmed on Avenue A on Saturday.
But it’s important that those interested email email@example.com as soon as possible since SAG guidelines dictate that extras must be COVID tested and minors must fill out a work permit form.
Extras will be paid $8 per person, per hour.
“It’s going to be a great time and a really fun opportunity for anyone interested in being on a real Hollywood set,” she said.
