A pop up event in downtown Rome on Saturday aims to bring several local organizations together in one place.
River Remedy Brewing Co. is hosting the event which gives exposure to many local groups that could benefit from the visibility.
“The idea is to provide a space for local vendors and businesses to pop up at a different location with a different clientele,” said River Remedy’s Derek Tucker. “Hopefully this will introduce customers to new businesses as well.”
With its large parking lot on Glenn Milner Boulevard, Rive Remedy has hosted similar events in the past, hoping its high visibility might help local organizations. In particular, nonprofits such as Harbor House Child Advocacy Center and the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia and PAWS have benefited from the location’s visibility in the past.
Saturday’s event will run from noon to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of River Remedy Brewing Co. located at 320 Glenn Milner Blvd.
“We still have plenty of spots open if you know anyone that would like to participate,” Tucker said.
