Housing Authority hopes to open Collins Village at Summerville Park by March
A lot of work remains at the Bill Collins Village at Summerville Park. The five duplexes were supposed to have been occupied by the end of 2020 but delays related to the pandemic have held up the project.
JoJo Garrett checks out some of the construction on an island in the kitchen of one of the duplex homes being built by the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority. Garrett said he hopes the units will be ready for their first tenants by the end of February.
Ten new homes, part of the Bill Collins Village at Summerville Park, are nearing completion, but are still two months behind schedule.
