Polk first responders presented U.S. Flag flown over Capitol

Polk County Commissioner Linda Liles (center), chair of the county’s public safety committee, presented a special United States flag to representatives of Polk County’s first responder agencies during the board’s work session on Monday, Aug. 31. The flag wa flown over the U.S. Capitol on Aug. 14, 2020, at the request of Congressman Tom Graves, R-Ranger, in honor of all Polk County first responders and health care workers. “We apprec you and apprec everything you do to keep Polk County Safe,” Liles said. Joining her are Marty Robinson, service director for Redmond EMS (from left), Polk County Sheriff Johnny Moats, Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd, Polk County 911 Director Crystal Vincent, Polk County EMA Director Randy Lacey, and Polk County Animal Control Director Jack Crawford.
