Top-seeded Yulia Putintseva rolled Wednesday while No. 5 seed Ana Bogdan lost despite taking the first set in the second round of the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest.

Kazakhstan's Putintseva, ranked No. 42 in the world, defeated Ana Konjuh of Croatia 6-4, 6-3 in one hour, 47 minutes.

Bogdan, of Romania, opened with a 6-4 win over Ukrainian Kateryna Kozlova but dropped the final two sets, 6-4, 6-2 in two hours, 15 minutes.

In other action, Serbian Olga Danilovic defeated Irina Bara of Romania 6-4, 6-3 and Argentina's Paula Ormaechea downed Serbian Ivana Jorovic, 6-1, 7-6 (6).

Livesport Prague Open

American Grace Min rallied to upset No. 7 seed Nina Stojanovic of Serbia, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the Czech Republic.

Eighth-seeded Tereza Martincova won in front of the home crowd, 6-3, 6-4 over American Asia Muhammad.

In a battle of Czechs, the match between Katerina Siniakova and Tereza Smitkova was suspended with Siniakova leading 5-3 in the third set. Their match will conclude Thursday.

Also, Viktoria Kuzmova defeated Rebecca Sramkova 6-4, 7-5 in the all-Slovak Republic battle.

Ladies Open Lausanne

Fifth-seeded Caroline Garcia of France rolled while No. 6 Arantxa Rus was upset in the first round at Switzerland.

Garcia defeated Alexandra Dulgheru of Romania 6-2, 6-2 in 70 minutes. Rus fell to Russia's Kamilla Rakhimova 6-7 (6), 7-5, 5-7 in the three

-hour match.

Third-seeded Jil Teichmann's match vs. Belgian Maryna Zanevska was suspended with Zanevska leading 2-1 in the third. Seventh-seeded Jasmine Paolini of Italy defeated Valentini Grammatikopoulou of Greece 6-3, 4-6, 7-5.

In other action, Australian Astra Sharma, Switzerland's Stefanie Voegele and Luxembourg's Mandy Minella all advanced.
