Gordon Lee Trojans

The Gordon Lee Trojans tuned up for tomorrow's Gordon Lee Duals by defeating Saddle Ridge, 57-24, in a Friday afternoon match in Rock Spring.

The Trojans fell behind 12-0 after two matches. Saddle Ridge got a forfeit win by Collin Miller (72 pounds) before Bentley Wilson (78) scored a pin.

However, Gordon Lee would win the next three bouts to take the lead as Noah Brown (86), Carson Alexander (94) and Jenz Martin (100) all scored pins for Gordon Lee.

The Mustangs came back with a pin by Isaac Hamilton (108). It would be the first of four straight matches where the two teams would exchange victories.

Dino Selamajic (115) won by pin for Trojans and Brodie Hodson (123) earned a pin for Saddle Ridge. Corbin Curd (130) won a hard-fought match on points to put Gordon Lee in front, 27-24, and it would be all Trojans from there on out.

Cannon Voiles (140), Mason Daughtery (165) and Griffen Moore (275) recorded pins, Brayden Stoker (220) won by forfeit, and Layne Vaughn (150) and Ben Locklear (180) both claimed wins by decision.
