Shi'Ray Walker scored 17 points in the opening quarter and finished with a game-high 24 as the LaFayette Ramblers improved to 11-2 on the year with a 61-40 win over Dade County on Thursday.
Porter Sentell dropped in 10 points and Brennan Ballard had seven in the victory. LaTell Gholer and Josh Nasworthy both added six points, followed by four from Jaidyn Simpson and two apiece by Braxton Kilgo and Jayven Williams.
LAFAYETTE GIRLS 34, DADE 13
The opener saw the Lady Ramblers jump out to a 25-3 advantage at intermission on their way to the victory.
Emma House had 11 points for LaFayette (4-8). Olivia Durham added seven, followed by Emma Parker with six, and Hannah Phillips and Zoey Smith with five apiece.
