LFO Warriors

The LFO Lady Warriors managed just six points in the first quarter and found themselves trailing by one against Collegedale on Tuesday at the Chattanooga Christian Thanksgiving Tournament.

But it was nothing a little 28-3 run couldn't cure.

LFO erupted over the next eight minutes, outscoring the Lady Eagles by 25 in the second quarter. Then, just to make sure, they outscored Collegedale 26-9 in the third period and cruised to a 64-22 victory and a 2-0 start to the season.

The Lady Warriors connected on six 3-pointers in the game, three off the fingertips of freshman Christen Collins, who had a game-high 19 points. Angel Simmons finished with 16 points and Christina Collins dropped in 12.

Skye Alexander had six points and Gracie Cochran chipped in with four. Three points from Princess Simmons and two each from Star Alexander and Zoey Gray-Martin rounded out the scoring.

LFO will conclude its part in the tournament Wednesday morning against Tyner.
