Waymond Nathan Watts, 72, of Ringgold, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was a life long resident of Wood Station and devoted his life to community service. Waymond attended Brewton-Parker and West Georgia college, had a masters degree in education, and was a school teacher in Walker County. He was a member of Quitman Masonic Lodge, the Order of the Amaranth, as well as Shriners International. Waymond also enjoyed studying history and was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans. In his free time, he helped transport sick children and their families to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Waymond is preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. and Margaret Watts and brother, James "Jimmy" Robert Watts. He is survived by many loving cousins and extended family members. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.
