walker gop meeting

Clayton Fuller (left, back row) and Tyler Harper, candidate for Georgia agriculture commissioner (left, front row), speak Nov. 16 with members of the Walker County Republican Party.

The Walker County Republican Party assembled on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 for their monthly general meeting. The party members and guests began the meeting with an invocation by Michael Smith and Cooper Jacks leading the pledge to the American flag.

Legislation and Policy chairman Bill Browne addressed important current issues, before Scholarship chairman Rhonda Jacks updated the group about three $1,000 scholarships to be given in May 2022. Next, Education chairman Beth Warren spoke on the importance of Limited Government as a core Republican principle.

In addition, Clay Fuller challenged the group with a sobering call to action regarding the threat of the China Communist Party, and the questions that conservatives must be willing to ask their elected officials.

And, last but certainly not least, Tyler Harper introduced himself and his platform, enlightening us as to why he should be the next Georgia Agriculture Commissioner.

The group adjourned with a final announcement that the Christmas meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 @ 6:30pm at 925 Osburn Road, Chickamauga, GA 30707 with all Walker County Republicans welcomed to attend. For additional information, please call 706-375-8685.
