Volunteers needed to raise, lower flags

Volunteers are needed to raise and lower Memorial Day flags honoring the deceased veterans of Catoosa County. There will be 2,003 flags and crosses throughout the city of Ringgold, and the Catoosa County Veterans Memorial Committee needs your help. Flags will go up on Monday, May 22, at 10 a.m. and will come down on Monday, June 5, at 9 a.m. Also, on Memorial Day (Monday, May 29), bugler Steve Price will present a TAPS ceremony in front of Ringgold City Hall at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
