MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT WINS ESSAY CONTEST

Catoosa County Farm Bureau has awarded $50 and a certificate to Natalia Celis, winner of the 2020 Georgia Farm Bureau (GFB) Middle School Essay Contest at the county level. Celis is a student of the Georgia Cyber Academy and is the daughter of Christine and Hiram Celis. The topic of this year’s contest was “Describe the relationship between farmers and natural resources.” Her essay has been submitted to GFB’S home office to be entered in the 1st District competition. The district winner will receive a cash prize of $100. The 10 GFB district winners will compete for the state prize of $150 cash. This contest is sponsored by GFB and coordinated by the GFB Women’s Leadership Committee.
