CHI Memorial Foundation will present “Advancements in Health Care,” a free education event for the residents of North Georgia. The event will be held at the Walker County Civic Center on Tuesday, March 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Dr. Krish Bhadra, interventional pulmonologist, and Dr. Betsy Washburn, breast surgical oncologist, will talk about the cancer care available through CHI Memorial’s Rees Skillern Cancer Institute.
Registered Nurse Kim Shank, director of clinical services, will explain the many support services available free of charge through CHI Memorial’s Center for Cancer Support, including nurse navigators, dietitians, social workers, chaplains, support groups, and educational materials.
