WoodmenLife presents check for LaFayette Senior Center

Monnette Crabtree, a sales representative with WoodmenLife Insurance, and Charles and Bernice Ray, members of Fraternal Chapter 310, LaFayette, present on March 12 a check for $750 to refinish the floors at the Senior Center in LaFayette. The presentation was made to Delta Beshers, president, and Phyllis Fitzgerald, treasurer, and a group of seniors who enjoy the services provided. In addition to life insurance, annuities and medicare supplements, WoodmenLife has fraternal chapters across the nation. The chapters look for ways to serve the needs in the community where they are located, such as recognizing teachers for their contribution to education, first responders who protect the communities where they serve and bus drivers who protect the lives of children as they are transported. Chapters also provide history awards to students, provide assistance at Christmas to those in need and contribute to food banks and homeless shelters.
