Calhoun man killed in wreck on Boone Ford Road

On Friday morning, 2006 Lexus, driven by Mason Lane Fuller, 18, was traveling east on Boone Ford Road. Fuller’s vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment, striking a tree.

At approximately 8:15 a.m., troopers responded to the crash. Fuller, a senior at Gordon Central High School, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

Fuller, born August 21, 2004 to parents Kevin Fuller and Ashley Holden Fuller, played football and participated on Gordon Central’s track team. He was described as outgoing and loving, having never met a stranger.

He was also described as a lover of the outdoors, lifted trucks, and being on the go — and was always late to everything he needed to attend.

Fuller, who crashed on his way to school, was also remembered at Monday night’s county school board meeting.

“A lot of students across our county [are] affected by that loss and his family as well,” Fraker said.
