City schools expand school supply services for 2021-22

Calhoun City Schools Expands Services to Provide Basic School Supplies for the 2021-2022 School Year through COVID Relief Funds

Through the efforts of our Family Engagement Coordinators and School Social Workers, Calhoun City Schools has been fortunate to have Resource Closets at each of our schools for many years.

Our resource closets are stocked with clothing, toiletry items, snacks and school supplies. It is through partnerships with local community agencies and churches that we have been able to keep our resource closets stocked with essential items our students may need.

This school year, we are pleased to announce that through CARES funds we will be able to expand this program and make basic school supplies available to students in our hallways with our quick and easy, Grab ‘n Go supply carts.

Students who need additional school supplies, toiletries, or clothes will still be able to visit or contact our Family Engagement Coordinators for assistance with these items.

Calhoun City Schools will continue to host our annual School Resource Fair for families in need. For more information about the School Resource Fair, please contact your school’s Family Engagement Coordinator or School Social Worker.
