Calhoun City Schools Names Ruff ‘System Teacher of the Year’

Joining Ruff on the field were Mana Smith, Calhoun Primary School Principal; Jayla Serritt, Calhoun Primary Teacher of the Year; Jaime Garrett, Calhoun Elementary School Principal; Dr. Michele Taylor, Superintendent; Allison Eubanks, Calhoun Middle School Principal; Rhonda Wells, Calhoun Middle School Teacher of the Year; Casey Parker, Calhoun High School Principal and Mr. Tommie Hoblitzell, Calhoun High School Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Danielle Ruff was named the 2022-2023 System Teacher of the Year for Calhoun City Schools during the pre-game Homecoming festivities on Hal Lamb Field at Phil Reeve Stadium Friday night.

Mrs. Ruff is currently in her 10th year in the education profession where she teaches 5th grade. Danielle is known for constantly exhibiting what a teacher should always do for her students and team.

She has remarkable relationships with her students and works hard every day to engage them in learning. She is a true leader whose leadership skills come naturally.

We are proud of Mrs. Ruff, a very deserving candidate for this honor.
