If you've ever dreamed of owning your own tank or surface-to-air missile, here's your chance.

More than 80 tanks and other pieces of military equipment are going up for auction in San Francisco Friday and Saturday. The equipment was collected by Silicon Valley engineer Jacques Littlefield and span World War I through the Gulf War.

The collection was donated to the Collings Foundation on Littlefield's death in 2009. The foundation is dedicated to preserving transportation history, including ground and air equipment. Proceeds from the sale will go towards building a military vehicle museum at the foundation's Stow, Massachusetts headquarters.
