The Hot Shots Junior Reign All-Stars cheerleading squad won the 2018 WSA Georgia Cheerleading Championship at Buford City Arena on Sunday.

Hosted by the Worldwide Spirit Association, the event was attended by more than 40 teams from throughout the Southeast. Scoring 93.5 points out of a possible 100, “J” Reign placed in the high range for every category, edging out direct competitor The Georgia Heat All-Stars from Newnan with a deduction-free performance.

The Hot Shots Senior Coed Kings and Queens squad also attended the event, placing second in the senior division.

The Hot Shots “J” Reign victory on Sunday is a follow-up to its season-opening victory in December at the Cheersport Grand Championships at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta where the squad was crowned grand champions.

The Hot Shots All-Stars hope to build on their winning season Sunday with the Diamond Divas youth all-star team at the COA Cheer and Dance Dixie Cup Championship in Birmingham, Alabama.

Both the Hot Shots “J” Reign and Senior Coed Kings and Queens return to Atlanta Feb. 17-18 to attend the Cheersport National Championship, billed as the biggest cheerleading competition in the world.
