Colton Woods, who is a two-time GHSA state champion, finished seventh in the junior/senior 132-pound weight class to earn All-American status for USA Wrestling.

Dalton Blankenship, another two-time GHSA state champion for the Tigers, came one win away from placing in the top eight at 113 pounds.

Davis Peek went 3-2 at the tournament, which included wrestlers from 40 different states. Luke McDurmon and Garrett Sheffield also competed.

Darlington community coach Craig Kipp said Colton, a junior, has heard from numerous college coaches since the tournament and all of the wrestlers represented themselves and their community very well.
