GOLF: Cedartown teams stay busy

  • ()

After playing well against Bowdon on Tuesday, March 12, the Cedartown had their Wednesday match moved back a week.

The off day didn’t hurt the Lady Bulldogs, however, as they returned to the links on Thursday, March 14 and performed well.

“Our girls played well,” head coach Bob Tracy said.

Meghan Keith led the Lady Bulldogs as their low medalist, carding a 46.

The Bulldogs, meanwhile, lost to Haralson County and Bremen last Thursday. Bremen shot a 168, Haralson County a 188 and the Bulldogs a 194.

“Our short game let us down,” Tracy said.

Dalton Puckett was the Bulldogs low medalist, shooting a 45.

Cedartown will play again on Tuesday, traveling to Oak Mountain to face Central-Carroll.
