Girls lacrosse: Lady Tigers rally for region win on the road

The Darlington girls lacrosse team notched its third region win in a row with a 12-11 victory over the River Ridge on the road on Saturday.

The win came after a second-half comeback rally from the Lady Tigers, who were down, 8-4, at the half.
Bailey Brock and Anna Kate Dulaney led the offensive effort, as each had three goals and two assists. Brock also had six groundballs.
Sarah Manning and Katie Cox had two goals apiece, and Manning also had an assist.
Morgan Sidwell and Blaire Holcomb each had one goal.
From the net, keeper Abby Cook kept the Lady Tigers (3-3, 3-1) alive by posting 14 saves.
On Tuesday Darlington will host North Springs for a non-region contest.
