GIRLS LACROSSE: Darlington girls fall to Kell in opener

The Darlington girls lacrosse team experienced a challenging start to the season on Wednesday.

The Lady Tigers lost to Kell, 18-1, on the road in an area game in their first game of the season. Lizzie LaVangie scored Darlington’s lone goal of the game, while goalkeeper Hayden Baldwin recorded seven saves.

The Lady Tigers play again this Saturday, when they host Martin Luther King at 10:30 a.m. With a victory, Darlington will capture its 100th win in program history.
