Letter to the editor

I felt this column (“I am a child of domestic violence” by Leonard Pitts published Feb. 18) was an insult to my intelligence. Mr. Pitts shows his ignorance of domestic violence. I believe calling someone names is bullying. That is the beginning of violence. His ignorance on domestic violence and lack of education or use of English comes through crystal clear. If he does not like our president that is his prerogative, but to call him names! I am so sorry for Mr. Pitts. Perhaps counseling would help him with domestic violence and prejudice. I would also suggest an English class to help him with vocabulary. Obviously, he has not recovered from his childhood.
