A Calhoun woman was taken to Floyd County Jail after eluding police during a chase on the last day of January, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Tabatha Denise Baldwin, 32, of 277 Holbrook Road, refused to stop for a move over violation on the Armuchee Connector at Old Dalton Road around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 31. She was picked up from the Bartow County Jail Tuesday and returned to Rome to face a dozen charges.
Baldwin took off at speeds reaching over 100 miles per hour, leading police on a chase that lasted over 15 minutes and covered more than 22 miles.
Baldwin is charged with felony fleeing and attempting to elude, a felony for obstruction of police and misdemeanors for the move over violation, speeding, driving on the wrong side of the road, failing to maintain a lane, driving while her license was suspended, DUI, passing in a no-passing zone, speeding in a construction zone, failing to obey a traffic device and driving on a divided highway.
She was being held in the Floyd County Jail Wednesday morning without bond.
