A Rome woman accused of shoplifting more than $900 worth of items from the West Rome Walmart was in jail Monday pending a $3,500 bond.
According to Floyd County Jail and Rome Police Department records:
Nebriesha Keona Windom, 20, of 10 Coker Drive, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony shoplifting and the misdemeanors driving on a suspended license and giving a false name to a law enforcement officer.
A Walmart security agent saw Windom fill a cart with $967.60 worth of children’s toys and cleaning supplies, wheel it out to a 2004 Kia Spectra and drive off. The agent gave the tag number to police, who found Windom just down the road at Rome Food Mart.
