A Rome woman was behind bars at the Floyd County Jail on Thursday for allegedly pointing a stolen gun at a man while threatening to shoot him.
According to jail records:
Rome police officers arrested Tesha Rai Arnold, 33, of 26 Gibbon St. during a traffic stop on Branham Avenue at South Broad Street around 6:30 p.m.
Arnold had pointed a gun at a Rome man who lives in an apartment on Porter Street and threatened to shoot him before driving off.
When police caught up with Arnold, they discovered she was driving on a suspended license.
Police also said the gun Arnold had had been reported stolen and that Arnold is a convicted felon.
She was charged with felony aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving stolen property and misdemeanor driving while license suspended.
No bond was set for Arnold.
