A Rome couple were in jail without bond Sunday after an altercation led officers to arrest the man on drug charges and the woman on simple battery charges, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Kenneth Franklin Robbins, 54, and Becky Louise Robbins, 53, both of 1445 Radio Springs Road, were arrested at 2:08 p.m. Sunday.
Officers were called to the residence regarding a domestic situation and saw Becky Robbins hit her husband. She continued to act violently toward him as officers arrested her and is facing charges of felony simple battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Officers found marijuana and multiple diazepam pills on Kenneth Robbins.
He is charged with felony possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance. He is also facing misdemeanor charges of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to keep drugs in original container.
