Two Shorter University students reported Monday that electronics were stolen from their dorm rooms over the Christmas break.

According to Rome Police Department reports:

The victims left for the holidays on Dec. 7 and found the items missing when they returned to the school at 315 Shorter Ave.

The doors to their rooms had not been forced open.

One student reported the theft of a Vizio sound bar valued at $150. The other said someone cut two locks from a large toolbox and stole a $300 PlayStation 4, three PlayStation games estimated at $180, and specialty game cables valued at around $120.

Campus officials said they are reviewing surveillance video and would notify police if potential suspects can be identified.
