A Rome man has been jailed after following a woman and ramming her vehicle several times during an incident December 7.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Jermaine Nelson, 32, of 91 Green and Gold Boulevard, was arrested Tuesday for following a woman in his vehicle and striking her vehicle on purpose in an effort to push her into an intersection. He reportedly continued to follow the woman to her home before finally leaving the area. Police reports indicate the woman had a protective order in place that prohibited Nelson from having any contact with her.
Nelson was charged with two counts of felony aggravated stalking as well as misdemeanor reckless conduct, hit and run and driving on a suspended license.
