A Sugar Hill woman was arrested Thursday following accusations that she intimidated and coerced an elderly victim into providing a cash payment of approximately $68,000, reports stated.
According to jail reports:
Frances Teresa McCracken, 54, is charged with felony exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult, elderly person or resident. She threatened the victim’s family and threatened to have the victim arrested on May 16.
Reports stated that McCracken had an accomplice in the crime who hasn’t been caught yet.
She was being held without bond Thursday night.
