Rome woman jailed on methamphetamine charges

A Rome woman was in jail without bond Thursday night, charged with felony possession of methamphetamine.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Tammy Diane Shaw, 46, of 205 Ohio Drive, also is charged with felony purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, along with misdemeanor drugs not in original container and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.

Police found Xanax, marijuana and meth on and in the area of Shaw on Thursday around 12:30 p.m. at 4 Kyle St. Shaw also fled from police and hid in the home on Kyle Street.

Shaw was arrested around 12:50 p.m.
