The Rome woman accused of attacking a man with a concrete statue during a fight at a house on General Avenue was in jail Tuesday on a felony aggravated assault charge.

According to Floyd County Jail and Rome police records:

Bridgett Edna Reynolds, 29, of 131 Dodd Blvd., Apt. E-1, was arrested at her home late Monday on a warrant. Police said she struck a man twice in the head with a concrete yard statue Sunday following an argument over how she was treating her children.

Police responding to a call about a fight saw Reynolds’ husband walking down the street wearing a bloody shirt. When asked if he needed help, he said it was the blood of the victim, who had first punched his wife in the face.

Reynolds was being held Tuesday morning pending a bond of $11,200.
