Rome woman charged with burglary, theft

Floyd County investigators have arrested a Rome woman in connection with a burglary in the Silver Creek area earlier this month.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Terri Allene Settlemoir, 48, of 52 Darryl Road was arrested Thursday by Investigator Amy Nails and charged with felony burglary for breaking into a home on Jake Whorton Road sometime between October 7 and October 10.  Undisclosed items were stolen during the burglary which resulted in misdemeanor theft and criminal trespass charges against Settlemoir.

She was being held in the Floyd County Jail without bond Friday morning.
