A man who ran from a vehicle that was stopped by a Georgia State Trooper faces a felony charge after a stolen forearm was found inside the vehicle.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Tyre Dajuan Stinson, 19, 301 Grover St., was arrested by a Georgia State Trooper Friday after Stinson tried to flee a traffic stop at Calhoun Avenue and North Broad Street around 9:30 p.m.
Stinson was ultimately chased down, then charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property after a stolen firearm was found inside the vehicle that he was a passenger in. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for obstruction of officers.
Stinson was released from jail Saturday on $2,500 bond.
