A Rome man was being held in jail without bond Wednesday after police say he threw a knife at someone, cutting the person’s arm, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Willie James Cliatt, 53, of 306 Perkins St., is charged with felony aggravated assault and tampering with evidence. He is also charged with misdemeanor willful obstruction of law enforcement.
Police said he tried to clean up the blood evidence in his kitchen before police arrested him on Tuesday night. He then refused to open the door for the arresting officers.
