A Rome man arrested Monday on probation and municipal court warrants now faces felony drug charges stemming from possession of a quantity of synthetic marijuana in North Rome last year.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Brandon Lewis McGlotha, 27, of 334 Ross St., was charged Tuesday in connection with an incident that occurred on Nov. 11, 2016.
Rome Floyd Metro Task Force personnel said McGlotha had a quantity of synthetic marijuana packaged for resale at the intersection of Howell Street and Camp Streets around 2:30 in the afternoon.
McGlotha was charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid.
He was originally jailed Monday on a bench warrant for the Rome Municipal Court and a misdemeanor probation warrant.
McGlotha was being held in the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday night without bond.
