A Rome man was jailed after police said he knowingly caused significant damage to a woman’s automobile.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Charles Larry Jones Jr., 48, of 87 Selman Road, was arrested at his home Thursday on a felony second degree criminal damage to property charge.
He is accused of breaking the mirror of a woman’s car, damaging the paint and denting the body. He also allegedly cut brake lights and flat-tened two rear tires.
The incident occurred at the Jones residence around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Jones was released from jail Friday on $3,500 bond.
