A Rome man has been jailed after reportedly putting a woman in handcuffs during an incident on Oreburg Road in the Coosa community.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jonathan Lee Miller, 35, of 4 Oreburg Road, is charged with felony false imprisonment after restraining a woman with metal handcuffs during an incident Monday. Miller forced the woman to lie on the ground and did not release her in a timely manner prompting the felony charge.

Miller was released from the Floyd County Jail Thursday on $5,700 bond.
