A Rome man had felony charges of aggravated stalking added Thursday to a list of probation violations and criminal trespassing allegations that were incurred in late December.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Joseph William Tapp, 22, of 203 Cherry St., was jailed Dec. 20 on criminal trespassing and probation charges. He has been held in jail since that time. On Thursday, Tapp was charged with felony aggravated stalking for calling a woman from the jail. The woman had obtained a temporary protective order prohibiting Tapp from contacting her at all.
