A Rome man has been jailed after allegedly hitting a woman in his home earlier this month.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Christopher David Ridings, 28, of 11 Judson Drive, was arrested Friday in the wake of an investigation into the Jan. 13 incident.
Riding is accused of punching the woman in the face several times, possibly causing a fractured bone in her face.
He was charged with felony terroristic threats and acts, false imprisonment and a probation violation, along with misdemeanor battery under the Family Violence Act.
Ridings was in jail without bond Saturday night.
