A Floyd County woman is facing felony drug charges after she reportedly threatened children playing at the Callier Forest Apartment complex.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Sierra Nicole Lofton, 24, is accused of yelling at three kids playing basketball at the complex, 131 Dodd Blvd., Monday, and threatening to stab and shoot them.
When police arrived, she kept trying to walk away despite orders to stay. She repeatedly threatened to kill the officer arresting her, creating a disturbance loud enough to bring residents out from their apartments to see what was happening.
At the jail, officers discovered by her chair a small bag of methamphetamine that wasn’t there when she sat down.
Lofton gave one of the apartments as her address but she was booked as living at 209 Wilkerson Road.
She is charged with four felony counts of terroristic threats and the felonies possession of marijuana and bringing drugs past the jail guard line. She’s also facing misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
Lofton was being held without bond Tuesday night.
