A Rome woman remained in jail Friday night on a $5,200 bond after being accused of battery and damage to property.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Talya Nachisa Pollard, 36, of 102 S. Division St., was arrested Thursday at 7:43 p.m. at her home after she broke the left mirror of the victim’s truck and bit the man on the chest, leaving a visible mark. She did this in front of a 20-month-old child.
Pollard is charged with felony damage to a vehicle and misdemeanor cruelty to children in the third degree and battery under the Family Violence Act.
