A 60-year-old Rome woman was in jail without bond Monday morning, along with the man she is accused of attacking with a kitchen knife.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Linda Kay Griffin, 60, of 2014 N. Broad St., was arrested just after 2 a.m. Monday and charged with felony aggravated assault. Police said she at-tacked a man in her home with a kitchen knife “causing serious bodily harm.”
The victim, Charles Hundra Griffin, 45, was later arrested on three con-tempt of court warrants for failing to pay child support and was being held without bond.
