Report: Two drive stolen U-Haul into Rome

A Senoia man and woman were in jail Thursday morning after being accused of driving a stolen U-Haul from Tennessee into Georgia and having two glass pipes with methamphetamine residue in them.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Christopher Joseph Wilbur, 33, and Michelle Nicole Wiley, 37, both of 1250 Stalings Springs Road, Senoia, were arrested after 5 p.m. Wednesday near the Sunoco gas station off Maple Avenue. They both had gabapentin and Seroquel pills on them that they didn’t have prescriptions for.

They are charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, theft by bringing stolen property into the state and possession of meth. They also are charged with misdemeanor possession and use of drug-related objects, along with sale, distribution or possession of dangerous drugs.

Wilbur was in jail without bond and Wiley was in jail on a $10,100 bond Thursday morning.
